Stephen W. Oachs Photography Landscape Gallery            Wildlife Gallery            Panoramic Gallery            Aperture Academy

The map updates every 30 seconds...if it's not moving, I'm not moving!)
Where is Stephen Oachs?

This map is a real-time view of my current location, based on GPS from my cell phone. The map moves as I move...if I'm driving, hiking or biking you'll see the map move. If I'm at work, or sleep, it will stand still.

As a photographer, I spend a lot of time traveling to various parts of the world -- often driving many miles to remote areas of the United States in search of unique perspectives and wildlife, and I'm often asked, "where are you today?" Well, here's your answer!

(If the map is on San Jose, California, I'm probably home or at the gallery working, instead of on the open road. Bummer!)

Now we not only envy you your trips, but we can drool in real-time while looking at your current locations, while you're actually there! I don't know if this is very cool...or cruel. ;-) LOL But it is pretty slick! Good stuff!

Looks like you're off on another adventure. Enjoy! Get some great shots.... Oh and when you're camping, don't sleep by the food. You don't want those bears to come near! :) Can't wait to see your shots. ;)

Hey out there! I know how boring all that driving can be...Remember, the GPS lady can't actually hear you... And Stephen, don't forget the bears are super hungry right now. A little dab of honey behind the ears should do it ;) YUMMY!

Love your photos, especially the "cats". I see you are not far from Kanab, Utah. Head over and visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary if you have not already been there. Lots of great photos can be had there!
