"Tyndall Beam"

Arizona's Lower Antelope Canyon begins as a crack in the middle of a dry riverbed, then quickly drops deep into the earth where it becomes an underground sandstone labyrinth. These bright orange sandstone slot canyons are an incredibly beautiful example of natureÕs creativity.

The moving sun bounces light in and out of the caverns, filtered by the countless facets of the carved stone walls. Even this deep below the desert surface, there was light. And this photograph captures a brilliant beam of sunlight piercing the darkness, spotlighting a dance by billions of floating particles of sand.

I think your picture is amazing! The warm light hugging the curves of the cavern is a delight for the eyes to look upon.
