Glacial Reflections

Glacier National Park is a geological wonder formed and sculpted by centuries of glacial formations and retreats. Inside the park, you can find beautiful St. Mary Lake, a mere puddle nestled at the bottom of Glacier's towering peaks.

This photograph captures the infamous teal cast of St. Mary Lake, which is caused by the high concentration of minerals stripped from the mountains during snow melt. On this extremely calm spring morning, the image centers on the serenity and stillness of the lake, which created a mirror-like reflection of the awe-inspiring distant vista.
